Yes, Machined G10 is available.
G10 is a composite material composed of glass fiber cloth and
epoxy resin. It was originally developed as a material for aircraft, which can
withstand great force without damage and deformation. G10 will not be
penetrated by water vapor and liquid, has the characteristics of insulation,
acid and alkali resistance, and is not heavy.
There are many kinds of G10 processing methods, the common
ones are: drilling, slitting, milling machine/lathe, engraving machine, CNC
numerical control, different processing methods can be selected for different
quality and precision requirements.
The CNC machining accuracy can basically be controlled within
the range of 0.1mm. If the requirements and processing difficulty are
relatively large, CNC numerical control machining or four-dimensional machining
can be used. The other processing methods cannot be compared with CNC numerical
control in terms of accuracy and time.
