G10 Epoxy rod is a rod with a circular cross-section, which is processed by electrical alkali-free glass fiber cloth impregnated with epoxy resin, after baking and hot pressing in a forming mold.
It is suitable for high-insulation structural parts for machinery, electrical
appliances and electronics. Has high mechanical and dielectric properties, good
heat resistance and moisture resistance.
G10 Epoxy rods can be classified into two
types:
1. Epoxy glass fiber rods, also known as
lead rods, are generally used for arresters or insulator mandrels.
2. Epoxy alkali-free cloth laminated rods,
commonly known as cloth rods or laminated rods, are generally used as machined
insulating parts. In products such as transformers, the mechanical properties
are better than that of lead rods.
