The thickness tolerance of the casting sheet is generally within ±0.30mm.

Acrylic (PMMA) Extruded sheet characteristics

The extruded sheet has low molecular weight and high flexibility, and is suitable for vacuum suction molding. The extrusion process can better control the thickness of the sheet, and the thickness tolerance is smaller than that of the cast board. Because extruded sheets are mass-produced automated production, the color and specifications are inconvenient to adjust, so the variety of product specifications is subject to certain restrictions. Due to the low molecular weight of the polymer, the mechanical properties, heat resistance, and solvent resistance are inferior to the cast-molded profile, and its advantage is high production efficiency. It is suitable for the production of a large number of acrylic touch panels for home appliances.

Acrylic sheet specifications and thickness

Specifications: 1220*2440mm, 1220*1830mm, 1250*2500mm, 2000*3000mm.

Thickness: 0.5mm-50mm, the thinnest thickness of the casting sheet can usually only be 2.0mm or more, while the thickness of the extruded sheet can be 0.5mm, or even 0.3mm.
