The molding process of G11 epoxy glass
fiber tube is to impregnate the glass fiber filament with resin and then
solidify it in a high-speed polymerization device integrated with photoelectric
and heat, and then pultrude it by traction. Due to the different types of
resins used, it is called polyester fiberglass, epoxy fiberglass, and phenolic
fiberglass. It has the characteristics of light and hard, non-conductive, high
mechanical strength, anti-aging, high temperature resistance, corrosion
resistance and so on.
The general concept of glass is that it is
a hard and fragile object and is not suitable for structural materials.
However, if it is drawn into filaments, its strength and flexibility are
greatly increased, so it can finally become an excellent structural material
after combining with resin and shape. It can be seen from Figure 1 that the
strength of the glass fiber increases as its diameter decreases. As a
reinforcing material, glass fiber has the following characteristics, which make
the use of glass fiber far more extensive than other types of fiber.
How to choose G11 epoxy glass fiber tube
1. Touch: Whether the texture is delicate
and whether the particles are uniform. The quality of the tube does not solve
the problem. If you touch it, the coarse particles are likely to be mixed with
other impurities.
2. Burning: It is intuitive and very
useful. The raw materials mixed with recycled plastics and other impurities
will emit black smoke and have a pungent odor; after a good material is burned,
not only will it not emit black smoke and odorless, after burning, the molten
liquid is still very clean.
3. Smell: whether there is an odor. Good
pipes have no odor, and poor ones have strange odors. It is likely that they
are blended with polyethylene (ie, PE) instead of polypropylene.
4. Smashing: A good G11 epoxy glass fiber
tube has good "resilience", but it is too easy to smash because there
are too many calcium carbonate fillers, which is naturally not a good glass
fiber tube. The glass fiber tube that cannot be broken is not necessarily a
good tube. The key is to look at the raw materials and processing technology.
5. Pinch: It has considerable hardness and
can be squeezed into a deformed tube at will. It is definitely not a PPR tube.
