Epoxy rods are also commonly known as pull
rods. The rods with circular cross-sections formed by hot pressing of forming
molds have high mechanical and dielectric properties and are suitable for
insulating structural parts in motors and electrical equipment. And can be used
in humid environment and transformer oil; generally used for lightning
arresters or insulator core rods.

2. The bending strength is less than 320Mpa;
3. The compressive strength is greater than or
equal to 200 Mpa;
4. The shear strength is greater than 32Mpa;
5. Dielectric constant 3-6;
6. The dielectric loss factor (50 Hz) is
greater than or equal to 0.02;
7. Volume resistivity 1. In normal state, it is
greater than or equal to 1.0*10 to the 11th power ohm, and when immersed in
water, it is greater than or equal to 1.0*10 to the 9th power ohm;
8. Parallel layer insulation resistance 1. In
normal state, it is greater than or equal to 1.0*10 to the 11th power ohm, and
when immersed in water, it is greater than or equal to 1.0*10 to the 9th power
ohm;
9. Surface withstand voltage (withstand voltage
in the air for 1 minute, with an interval of 30mm) 14 kV;
10. Vertical layer withstand voltage (withstand
voltage in transformer oil at 90+-2 degrees Celsius for 5 minutes) 18-20 kV;
11. Parallel layer direction withstand voltage
(withstand voltage in transformer oil at 90+-2 degrees Celsius for 5 minutes,
with an interval of 25mm);
12. The insulation resistance is greater than
or equal to 5*10 to the 4th power ohm;
13. Power frequency withstand voltage: The
distance between the oil compartment of the on-load tap-changer and the ground
(withstand voltage in the transformer oil, 100mm. 5 minutes) is greater than 85
kV.
