Epoxy board is now a commonly used material, the production raw
materials are epoxy resin, glass fiber cloth and so on. It is a composite
material that needs to be pressed at high temperatures. During the production
process, there will be problems such as surface blooming, blackening of the
board core, and surface area glue.
Problems and solutions that are prone to occur during the
pressing of epoxy boards.
1. Flowering on the surface.
The reasons for this problem are
uneven resin flow, damp glass cloth, and too long preheating time.
Use moderate fluidity resin and control the heating time.
2. The board core is black and the surroundings are white.
This is caused by the excessive volatility of the resin, and the
problem lies in the dipping step.
3. Surface cracks.
The thinner the board, the more likely this problem will occur.
The crack may be caused by thermal stress, or it may be caused by excessive
pressure and untimely pressurization. The solution is to adjust the temperature
and pressure.
4. Surface area glue.
This is easy to occur in thick plates, where the thickness of
the plate is large, and the temperature transfer is slow, resulting in uneven
resin flow.
5. Layering of plates.
This may be caused by poor resin adhesion or too old glass
cloth. In summary, the reason is that the quality is too poor, due to the
replacement of high-quality raw materials.
6. The sheet slides out.
Excessive glue content can cause this problem, and the ratio of
glue solution is very important.
7. Sheet warping.
Thermal expansion and contraction are the laws of physics. If
the heat and cold occur suddenly, the internal stress will be destroyed and the
product will be deformed. During production, the heating and cooling time
should be sufficient.
